If there are parts of the trading conditions that you do not understand, we recommend that you contact us before you start trading on the website.

These terms apply when you order or purchase products from this website. The Trading Terms may be updated from time to time (for example to reflect changes in technology, our business model, our system capabilities or relevant laws and regulations) and we therefore ask you to accept them each time you trade with us. Any reference to "you" or "your" means you as the user of this website, any reference to "we", "us" or "our" means Boutique Bolou.

If you do not accept the trading conditions, you cannot order or buy products on this website.

You must be 18 years of legal age to shop on the website.

The provisions of the Sales Act's defects apply to your purchase, which means that you have certain statutory guarantees for the contractual nature of the goods.

2.0 Order

The online shop is open 24 hours a day, but may be closed for maintenance. We try as far as possible to carry out such maintenance during the night hours.

An order placed on a public holiday or public holiday will be processed the following working day.

You can place an order by completing the following steps:

  • Select product(s) and "Add to Cart".
  • Log in or enter personal information, select your preferred payment method. Before you click "Go to secure payment" you must read and accept our trading conditions by checking the box.
  • Enter relevant payment method details to secure your order.

After the order has been placed, you will receive an email from Boutique Bolou summarizing the order content and confirming that the order has been received. This e-mail does not constitute an order confirmation and no binding agreement has yet been entered into when you receive this e-mail. We confirm the order either by sending the products to the address we have been given or by sending an e-mail confirming that the goods have been sent. No binding agreement has been entered into, and we are thus not bound by your order until we have confirmed the order.
Payment will be made after the item has been shipped.

We can only complete your order if the delivery address is a private or business address in Denmark. We do not deliver to PO boxes.

We reserve the right to cancel the purchase agreement in any of the following situations, without being liable for compensation or other costs:

  • Your payment information is incorrect or cannot be verified
  • Your order has been placed with the purpose of committing fraud etc. or submitted in connection with a criminal offense or other illegal activity
  • An accidental error occurs on the website, e.g. a payment error etc.
  • We have reason to believe that you are under 18 years of age

Agreements can only be concluded via the website, e-mail or telephone to our customer support.

AT WHAT POINT IN THE ORDERING PROCESS ARE YOU BOUND BY YOUR ORDER?

Before placing the order, you have the opportunity to change the information you have entered, including delivery and invoice information or payment information. You also have the option to change the items or remove items from your shopping cart.

When you click "Buy and pay", a receipt will appear on your screen. From that point on, you are bound by your offer to purchase. We are only bound, and a final agreement has only been concluded, when we have sent you a final order confirmation, as described above.

Please contact our customer support if you made a mistake when placing the order - we are ready to help you.

After the conclusion of the agreement, the rules on the right of withdrawal apply, see below in point 3.

2.1 Language of the Agreement

The agreement can only be concluded in Danish.

2.2 Access to the agreement

You will receive via e-mail a confirmation of the content of the agreement as well as a copy of these Terms and Conditions. We store concluded agreements, including the order confirmation, for a certain period of time, but we recommend that you also save these documents, as they will not necessarily be available subsequently on the Website or with us in general.

2.3 Measures against fraud

In order to protect you and our other customers from fraud and maintain a high level of security for online purchases, we may carry out verification checks. The verification check may include the data that you send when you order on the Website, including your address and payment information.

2.4 Prices and delivery

All listed prices for goods, delivery costs and other costs are inclusive of taxes, VAT and duties.

2.5 Free delivery

We usually deliver free of charge within 2-7 working days throughout Denmark when ordering before 12 on weekdays. We use FEDEX for parcel boxes (Delivery is free upon collection at Boutique Bolou in Charlottenlund).

If you order several products where one or more are sold out, we will partially deliver the available products and inform you via e-mail about the delivery window for the remaining products.

We take every care to protect your products during transit. However, if damage has occurred before you receive the products, please contact our customer support to arrange a replacement of the damaged products. If the goods are damaged in transit, you can return the jewelery and we will replace the damaged products.

If the package is not collected by you and therefore a fee is charged, you are responsible for the additional costs and you will be charged our costs and expenses associated with this. This includes shipping costs, additional payments, duties, taxes, fees for advance payment to our shipping supplier, return costs, extra fees/charges, etc

Please note that the risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you after delivery. If the package appears to be damaged or torn, you should refuse to receive the products. If you wish to complain about a non-conformity, please let us know. Please read more under "Defective and incorrect goods".

We reserve the right to change prices and reserve the right for any printing errors, out-of-stock items and price changes.

2.6 Currency

You can pay in DKK on the website.

2.7 Track your order and view history

When you order on our website, you will receive a tracking number and link in a separate email to track your order via our couriers' websites.

3.0 Right of withdrawal

At www.bolou.dk you have 14 days of full right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. Please note that we do not cover the costs of returns as a result of your regret. Please note that you cannot return your Boutique Bolou products in packing boxes.

However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the delivery of goods that have been manufactured to your specifications or have been given a distinct personal touch.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us (see contact information at the top of the document) of your decision to withdraw from this agreement in an unequivocal statement (eg by registered mail or email). You can use the standard cancellation form in Appendix 3 to the Consumer Contracts Act, which can be found on the following website https://www.retsinformation.dk/eli/lta/2013/1457 , or you can fill in and send our standard cancellation form by post or e-mail, which you can find here , but it is not mandatory.

The cancellation period has been met if you send your notice of exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

You must return the goods or deliver them to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you have informed us of the exercise of the contractual right of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days

You must bear the direct costs in connection with the return of the goods.

Follow this procedure when returning/exchanging an order:

  1. Notify us that you are canceling the agreement as described above.
  2. Make sure the jewelery is packed securely and in its original box and packaging.
  3. Return the item to:

Boutique Bolou

Jægersborg All 25

2920 Charlottenlund

Denmark

You can also return the goods in the store if you show the invoice you received when you bought the jewellery.

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and way of functioning of the goods. As a general rule, the products should always be returned in their original packaging, otherwise they lose part of their value. If there is evidence that the jewelery has been used to an extent beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and way of functioning of the goods, which reduces the value of the product, we will set off the lost value in the amount we will refund you.

3.1 Repayment

If you exercise your right of withdrawal under this Agreement, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (but not additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence of having returned the goods, whichever is the earliest

4.0 Means of payment
We accept the following means of payment

  • Dankort
  • EuroCard/Mastercard
  • Visa Electron
  • Mastercard Debit
  • MobilePay

We do not accept other payment methods.

4.1 Check Digits (CVV)

If you pay by credit card, you will be asked to enter the card's check digits. You will find the three check digits on the back of your credit card, usually on the right side of the back of the credit card. The check digits are necessary for the payment to be completed and to maintain a high level of security. There may also be other corresponding security measures.

4.2 Payment procedure

When your item leaves our warehouse to be delivered, your payment will be deducted from the selected payment service.

5.0 Defective and incorrect goods
You have a two-year right of complaint for defective goods in accordance with the Purchase Act. We recommend that you save your receipt to be able to prove that your complaint is made within the 2-year period. If your item suffers from a defect or we have delivered incorrect items, please contact our customer support. You are not responsible for costs associated with the return of defective or incorrect products. If you can already detect shortages or incorrect goods at the time of delivery, you should refuse to receive the package.

In the event of a defective item or incorrect item, you can choose between the following options:

  • Return the goods and get a refund of the purchase price once we have processed the returned products,
  • Return the goods and receive similar products once we have processed the returned products, (however, we may refuse redelivery of similar products if such redelivery is impossible or would impose disproportionate costs on us),
  • Let us attempt to remedy the defect by repairing the item (however, we may refuse remedy if remedy is impossible or would impose disproportionate costs on us), or
  • Keep the goods and if the value of the products is less than the originally ordered goods, you will receive a discount for the price difference.

When you contact customer service, please state your order number. In addition, please describe what is wrong with the products and attach a picture of the error with a file size of less than 1 megabyte in order for us to process your complaint.

7.2 Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under the Terms of Trade if the delay or failure to perform is due to events beyond our reasonable control.

7.3 Completeness of the agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the complete terms of the agreement between us.

7.4 Invalidity

If one or more of the provisions in the trading conditions should be declared wholly or partially invalid, the other provisions will continue to apply.
