In 1929, Umberto Cazzola opened his first goldsmith's workshop with approximately 20 employees. As the years passed and the expertise of the Cazzola family became more and more recognized, the facilities and ambitions grew with it. After World War II, the ground-breaking technology behind the flexible chains that characterize FOPE today was designed. A flexibility created by dozens of small gold springs has proven to be the way to the hearts of many men and women, because for once practicality does not have to mean a compromise with elegance and luxury. Since then, they have flexible bracelets and rings, together with FOPE's other selection of e.g. necklaces and earrings in 18 carat gold with diamonds, enchanted customers worldwide.

During her time in Italy and New York, Bolette developed strong ties to the Cazzola family and fell head over heels in love with their gold jewelry. Since Boutique BOLOU opened in 2006, FOPE has therefore been an important cornerstone in our universe and we are proud to be able to call ourselves the exclusive dealer of FOPE in Scandinavia.
